At 13:00 on October 24, 2019, Andre Yalanski, vice president of the State University of Fine Arts and Architecture of Ukraine, and his team visited our school. President Zhen Zhongyi of HAFA greets them in the guest room. President Andre expressed his desire to strengthen cooperation and communication with our school. Dean of the International Education Department and director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Center, Lan Xincheng, dean of the Plastic Arts Department, Jiang Xingda, deputy director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Center, Hao Jinlong, and Ukrainian foreign teacher Tanya of our school, accompanied the reception.
Vice President Andre Yalanski and his party, accompanied by Dean Lan, visited the North and South Campuses. Yalanski was impressed by the school's magnificent architecture and the planning concept of the integration of Chinese and western style, "I haven't heard of this kind of planning before, it's spectacular." After the visit, the two sides held in-depth negotiations on cooperative running of schools, joint construction of specialties, exchange of teachers and students in a conference room. Andre sincerely hopes that our school can send calligraphy teachers to Ukraine to inherit calligraphy art for students and let students experience Chinese culture.
The State University of Fine Arts and Architecture of Ukraine was founded in 1917, which is located in the center of Kiev, the capital. The Moscow Academy of Fine Arts, the St. Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts and the Ukrainian State Academy of Fine Arts are the three top art academies in the former Soviet Union. The school was founded by mikhailo gurshevsky, Ukraine's first president, specializing in sketching, oil painting, sculpture, artistic principles, stage art, arts and crafts, architecture, art restoration, etc.
