As it is the 2570th anniversary of the birth of Confucius. On September 27th, Hebei Academy of Fine Arts held the ceremony of the Confucius and the 15th Teacher's Day and the opening ceremony of the 2019 freshmen. 62 freshmen from 14 countries including Pakistan, Rwanda, Russia, Mongolia, Bangladesh and Nigeria gathered together with the faculty and staff and more than 5,200 Chinesefreshmen tostart thenewsemester.

At 8:00 in the morning, everyone with a sincere and respectful heart, dressed in a ceremonial dress, holdingand readinga bookofthe "The Analects of Confucius". Theforeignstudents watched theceremonywithallfreshmen of theuniversityand experienced the charm of traditional culture. The newstudent,BOGDAN,from Russia is in ceremonial dress, listening to the essays, participatedintheceremonyinperson.

After raising the national flag in the solemn national anthem, the president of university gave a welcome speech to the new student. At the ceremony, the president, Zhen Zhongyi, delivered a speech and welcomed more than 5,200 freshmen who entered the school this year. He expressed his best wishes to the staff of the university and congratulations to the teachers who received awards for the excellent work in the last year. He hopes that all students should have a great ambition to contribute for the country.

After the teacher’s representative and the freshman’s representative delivered a speech, Athans from Nigeria spoke as a representative of the international students. Athans said, "I am very honored to come to such a beautiful university for further study. I will work hard to learn Chinese and become the emissary of exchanges between the two countries."

This opening ceremony set a good base for the future study and life of foreign students, and pointed out the correct direction for the new students' study.
