On May 23, the opening ceremony for the first foreign students from Hebei Academy of Fine Arts in 2019 was held in the atrium of the third floor of the North Castle. 44 foreign students from 12 countries and regions around the world gathered here.

President of Hebei Academy of Fine Arts, Zhen Zhongyi, Executive Vice President Zhang Jianmin, Vice President Zhang Ziyan, Vice Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, Zhen Xinheng, and the relevant departments of the Academic Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office, Public Courses Department, International Education College, foreign teachers, and police of the Xinle Municipal Public Security Bureau in Hebei Academy of Fine Arts attended the opening ceremony. Hao Lingsheng, a teacher of the Department of International Education, presided over the opening ceremony.

Liu Yu, a representative of the foreign student from Rwanda, spoke highly of the learning opportunities offered by the school and the help for the students in their lives.
