On March 27, 2017, Professor Owen,the dean of the School of Arts, Cardiff Metropolitan University with 18 teachers and students visited our university. President Zhen Zhongyi extended a warm welcome to the delegation.

At 9: 00 in the morning, president Zhen Zhongyi, executive vice president Zhang Jianmin, vice president Zhang Ziyan, Zhen Xinheng had a meeting with professor Owen in the conference room of the comprehensive building. They had comprehensive and in-depth talks on education and teaching, teacher construction, art exchange, and international educational cooperation. The two sides formally signed a memorandum of cooperation, expected to carry out comprehensive cooperation on the undergraduate and master degree.

In the afternoon, professor Owen held a lecture entitled "pleasant message Communication" . Teachers and students actively participated in the interaction, analyzed the differences between Chinese and Western art, and drew on new concepts and creative inspiration of art. We organized the guests to experience Chinese clothing culture, calligraphy practice and other activities. The two sides expressed that the activities are novel and effective, which not only made the distance between the two universities closer, but also laid the foundation for the friendship between Chinese and British students.
